Couples Counseling
At Positive Mind Counseling, I work with couples who are seeking meaningful change, greater connection, and improved emotional well-being. My primary specialty is helping couples strengthen their relationships through improved communication, trust-building, conflict resolution, and deeper emotional connection using the Gottman Method. Whether you are struggling with recurring arguments, feeling disconnected from your partner, navigating a major life transition, or preparing for marriage, counseling can help you develop the tools needed to create a healthier and more fulfilling relationship.
Individual Therapy
I also provide individual therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Using a direct and collaborative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping skills, and improve self-esteem through a guided "Six Pillar" approach.
Immigration Evaluations
In addition, specialized services are available for immigration evaluations and other mental health evaluations that require a comprehensive clinical assessment and written report.
My goal is to provide a supportive, authentic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood, challenged, and empowered to move toward the life and relationships they desire.
I believe meaningful change occurs when clients feel both supported and challenged. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I utilize evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Gottman Method principles, to help clients identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical skills, and create lasting change in their lives and relationships.
Whether you are feeling disconnected from your partner, struggling with communication, navigating a difficult life transition, or seeking support for anxiety, depression, or personal growth, therapy can help you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face life's challenges alone. I am committed to providing a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative environment where healing and growth can occur.
Positive Mind Counseling currently provides virtual counseling services for residents of California and Indiana. Services are offered through a secure telehealth platform, allowing clients to access counseling from the comfort and privacy of their own home.
